 Pinch Style - older style atvs where the end of the cable that enters the throttle assembly has a metal edge and oring that is held in the assembly by the top cap of the assembly holding it in place 

 Threaded Style - most common cable used - the end of the cable has a male threaded end that screws into the throttle assembly
